The Boy Scouts of America believes in empowering our leaders by providing them the knowledge, confidence, resources, and skills they need to better serve our youth, save time, and have fun!

The safety of every Scout is our number one priority.

Every Scouting volunteer must complete Youth Protection Training before they can register.

Basic level trainings can be completed online at My.Scouting.org at your leisure.

Additional trainings, such as advanced leadership courses, skills courses, Wood Badge,  and more occur throughout the year upon request and availability of our trainers, who are volunteers themselves! Be sure to check here regularly for new courses that have become available, and feel welcome to ask about opportunities for trainings that you would like to be a part of!

Every Unit Leader should be trained before they start working with the scouts.  They will not be able to re-register in the fall if they are not trained for their scouting position.
