Scous BSA: Fortnight Survival Skills Camporee – March 30-31st

SPRING CAMPOREE FORTNIGHT SURVIVAL SKILLS
Saturday March 30 & Sunday March 31
(Friday March 29th, optional)
OPEN TO: SCOUTS BSA Youth
COST: Varies by who registration Type – Register by March 10, 2019
Food is to be supplied by each Troop separately (by request of Troops)
Participating units and individuals are responsible for providing two deep leadership and following the guidelines set forth by the Guide to Safe Scouting and the Sweet 16 of BSA Safety.
Events include Backpacking Skills**, Fire building Skills, Knot Tying Skills, Communication Skills,
Shelter Building Skill/Contest, Orienteering Skills, and a surprise group activity!
**Back packing will be limited to 30 total participants (Youth and Adults). This will take place Saturday night, with return Sunday Morning. Packing list will be provided to registered participants.
No additional Cost for Back packing.

The Camporee officially starts on Saturday, however, those who want to may arrive early, Friday night and enjoy more camping can. Please RSVP at the time of registration.
In addition, there is opportunity Sunday afternoon for an additional review of the Campsite. There are great hiking trails and Horse opportunities.

From Phoenix, take I-17 north to Exit 236 for Table Mesa Rd. Turn left onto W Table Mesa Rd. Turn Right onto N Rock Springs Rd. Turn right onto W Table Mesa Rd. The Dirt Road Ends at Little Grand Canyon Ranch
