Yuma’s generosity of spirit was on display Thursday, December 5 at Booth Machinery at the inaugural “Scout Me In” fundraising luncheon event for the Gila River District, Grand Canyon Council of the Boy Scouts. More than $34,000 were raised right here to build and re-grow scouting in Yuma, with Governor Doug Ducey delivering the keynote address.

Jonathan is among the busiest of men in Southwest Arizona. He is deeply committed to his faith, his family, and his friends. Jonathan was appointed by Governor Ducey to serve on your Arizona – Mexico Commission Board of Directors. He is the former treasurer of the Arizona Republican Party and past Chair of the AZGOP. Jonathan is the General Manager of Lines and Lundgreen Roofing, a third-generation family business earning numerous “Yuma’s Best” Awards, is the Chairman of the Yuma Community Food Bank, is the Past President of the Caballeros de Yuma. In his spare time, Jonathan is the Membership Director and Board Member of the Yuma Rotary Club, was a Chairman of the Ocotillo District of the Grand Canyon Council of the Boy Scouts of America and serves currently on the Executive Board of the Grand Canyon Council. Mr. Lines has also been the Chairperson for many events and projects in Yuma County such as the Yuma high School 100 year anniversary and Caballero de Yuma Events. He is also the Chairman of the Arizona State Fair Board. The Many awards and accolades that Jonathan has accumulated over the years include the Silver Beaver and District Award of Merit from the Boy Scouts, the Rookie of the Year from the Rotary Club, the Service Above Self Award and Rotarian of the Year. He has been the Caballero of the Year. After several different nominations in three different categories, Jonathan was awarded the Benefactor of the Year by the Arizona Community Foundation. Jonathan and his wife Rosalie have 11 children and each one of them is a pure joy. Jonathan and Rosalie have passed down the family traditions of respect for land, our God given rights and liberties, community service, stewardship, family bond, and their unwavering deep faith.
